personality overview:Ally is a complete sweetheart deep down- and I mean really, really deep down. We’re talking below an invisible force field and shining armour. She has been hurt one too many times by people she’s been close to and therefore rarely acknowledges the fact that she would take a bullet for even her worst enemies. She forces herself into this perfect Barbie like mould- only not a dumb blonde, don’t even get her started on that stereotype- instead of showing her true personality. If you catch her with her guard down though, you’ll see the blonde has a tendency to be a bit of a firecracker- a bit on the argumentative side and a tad blunt. She’s honest when it comes to her opinions, but despite what many think, she watches her words when she feels somebody is actually fragile. Ally is one of the nicest people you’ll meet- but good luck getting her to admit that she actually has a heart. To the world Ally is the least emotional person you will ever meet- but those who know her knows she cries for others just never for herself.
Ally takes being competitive to an entirely new level- and not simply because she’s good. She takes everything seriously, including that stupid card game ‘Go Fish’. Give her a 5th out of 40 and she won’t be happy- she knows what she deserves and hates when she doesn’t get it. But Ally isn’t the spoiled girl that you are imagining- because that 5th she’s pissed at is usually because she’s so mad about something she did on course that she doesn’t think she deserves to place. Ally is extremely picky in her quest perfection, and most coaches just laugh as she lists everything she did wrong from the minute she entered the ring. In fact, her coaches often spend more time reminding her that looking for a lead is not a crime- simply a bad habit. She needs to be the best, but she hates when she feels things are handed to her. Ally works hard for everything she wants- which is why she’s the one who spends hours going over essays she gets back to figure out how she can do better. She is a rare breed that’s for sure.

DEAR MOM AND DAD, I‘LL SEND MONEY
I‘M SO RICH THAT IT AIN‘T FUNNY
Deborah Cupello, 60, professor
father: Michael Devon, 64, plastic surgeon
siblings: none
others: Jessica Dwyer (former coach), Princeton (puppy)
hometown: Dutton, Ontario
history: Ally was born a beautiful blonde baby girl with gorgeous eyes and held in the arms of her mother Deborah like she was the greatest thing on earth. Her father, Michael, did the same for the first few years of her life. They were the textbook family- two well off parents, a child prodigy in the classroom and soon to be competitive athlete. Ally started riding when she was just five, since her mother’s sociology degree believed in the importance of surrounding kids with good influences. She bounced around with her hair in bows and garters on her legs for a few years until she entered the real riding world- the small pony ring. She rode a pony named Straight A’s in the small pony ring and despite the odds, finished 3rd overall. She continued to show in the pony rings and her parents continued to sign the checks- her orthodontist of a father never blinking and her mother always supporting her every move.
It wasn’t until she was twelve that Ally’s textbook perfect life was shattered- thanks to the big ‘D’. Yes, her parents had signed the papers and were getting a divorce- but not because they were fighting, but because her father had realized he was gay. Yes, poor Deborah had to explain that to her twelve year old daughter that was extremely innocent. Ally had taken it fairly well, but her visits with her father remained awkward- he kept attempting to buy her love, Ally kept wishing he’d just be her father again. Eventually, the visits stopped besides the odd Christmas dinner- but Michael’s guilt overwhelmed him and he kept buying her ponies as if Deb couldn’t afford them. Ally rode the ponies her father bought her but only long enough to sell them, she could never manage to ride them without getting angry at her father for thinking he could buy her love- though Deb thoroughly explained he still loved her, Ally doubted it. She’d argued against her mothers points a lot as a kid- until she realized that her mom’s degrees meant she actually did know a few things about the human mind.
Ally rode in the pony ring until she was thirteen, when she started competing in the ‘Big Eq’ rings. She constantly rode horses that were just making their debut in the bigger equitation rings and claimed many ribbons against those on the ‘old pros’. Ally competed in the medals and the hunters on the Canadian A circuit and at sixteen started riding green horses for Jessica Dwyer. She continued to ride with her original A circuit coach Michelle, but spent more and more time working with Jessica to get horses promoted on the A circuit. Shortly after starting with Jessica Ally started competing in the United States A circuit on her off weekends in Canada. She competed continuously throughout her junior years, eventually winning the CET Medal. Ally also took a second place finish in the Maclay, a great accomplishment considering she’d had to ride one of Jessica’s jumpers since the equitation horse she’d qualified had been sold. Ally started riding jumpers after this win, and throughout university she competed in the jumper and hunter rings with large amounts of success. After University she started competing as a pro and started showing in the Grand Prix ring.
It was one weekend at Palgrave- well Caledon Equestrian Park to those who don’t routinely show there- that changed Ally’s life completely. Ally was up there a few days before the majority of the competitors to school Michelle’s daughter’s large pony around the ring- seeing as if they didn’t start doing well they were going to slide out of the top ten. Ally worked hard with Hannah during the day, and at night spent her usual few hours sitting in the temporary lounge and having a few drinks with the grooms and parents. This time however, it was just her and Josh, Michelle’s husband. Josh started flirting a little too much, getting a little too touchy and next thing Ally knew his hands were wandering. He’d walked away after a few seconds of touching, leaving Ally startled and confused, but she assured herself he’d just made a mistake- or something. But it wasn’t over, and for a whole month her continuously assaulted her whenever she went up alone with him. Finally, Ally said something to Michelle- but all she did was defend him and blame Ally. Michelle became an emotional rollercoaster whose only goal was to ruin Ally- calling it an affair and doing everything she can to have her riders beat Allyson. Jessica, Ally’s fire cracker of a coach, has been determined to play the opposite end- Michelle’s students never beat hers, especially Ally. Ally is overwhelmed with pressure, especially now that she’s a sitting duck whose praying her deepest secret won’t come out.

registered name: Boston
barn name: Boston
breed: Warmblood
height: 16.1h
age: eight
notes: orginal rider ran him at fences, so he doesn't like to be touched over fences. Boston is completely dead to your leg at the trot but doesn't need to be touched once he is in the canter. Have to really leave him alone over fences. Boston really loves his job. [/ul][/blockquote]

A Listbarn name: Callie
breed: Warmblood
height: 16h
age: nine
notes: Callie is a sweetheart, but she has her problems. Not really "mareish" but can be spooky on course, also has a tendancy to get long and stop paying attention- always benefits from inside turns. However, she needs a lot of leg through turns or she dies out. [/ul][/blockquote]
